So very pleasantly surprised by this light/fan! It was way lighter than I thought it was going to be and it helped with the installation, had no issues doing it by myself. One issue with installation, I only had 2 of the 4 mounting screws needed. Luckily I had some extra screws lying around that happen to fit.Had some doubts that it would be as bright or the fan as strong as it states but it is! It is almost too bright for my room on the highest setting, which I have never had happen before, lights never seemed bright enough for the space. This one is plenty bright at 75%. I like the option to make it more bright white or warm white depending on what I want.The fan is great, surprising how much airflow it has at the lowest setting. However, that is only directly below the fan. But, it does circulate the room air and keep it cool so I don't mind not feeling the airflow away from the fan. I personally didn't feel any difference in airflow between settings 5 and 6, and barely felt any difference between settings 4 and 5. But for my room (15'x16') keeping it on 2 or 3 has kept the room cool and air circulating satisfactorily so it doesn't bother me about the higher settings.I have no issues with the remote, it's self-explanatory. The app works fine. I was disappointed I wasn't able to sync it to my smart home routines but that is more a user error/didn't check before purchasing to see if it was compatible issue than an issue with the light itself. All in all, I am thinking of purchasing another for a different room so I can get rid of the big bulky ceiling fan that I currently have there.Perfect product. Small size but mighty results. Bright lighting (and wonderful dimming ability) and the fan is quiet and strong (remote shows 6 fan speeds. I only felt 4. Levels 5 and 6 didn’t seem to change anything but i didn’t want anything faster than 4!). I installed two of these into bedrooms 11’x12’. Perfect match. I would say that these are well suited for a room up to 15’x15’ (perhaps a little more).INSTALLATION:Right out of the box, this product is simple, soundly assembled, and easy to install.Since the install instructions did not address which wires to connect to each other, I googled it. This light fixture comes with red (or brown) wire, blue wire, and green/yellow wire. My house has black, white, green.Googled:“…in most of the world except for the US and Canada, the neutral wire is either blue or black. In your case the red wire should be connected to the hot (black) wire from the junction box, and blue should be connected to the neutral (white) wire from the box. If there is a green, green and yellow, or just bare copper wire, that's the ground wire. It should be connected to the bare or green wire inside the junction box.”1. Turned off breaker and removed old fixture.2. Installed new mounting plate to ceiling junction box. Snugged to ceiling but not over tightened.3. Hung fixture by 1 of the cover screws so I didn’t have to hold it. And I could tilt and connect wires.4. Stripped each of the red, blue, and green/yellow wires back to 1/2” bared wire. Connected, using orange wire nuts (not supplied):✔️Fixture blue to my white wire✔️Fixture red to my black wire✔️Fixture green/yellow to my green ground wire5. Left it hanging while I flipped breaker onFixture immediately lit up.6. I installed 2 AAA batteries (not provided) in remote and paired remote control by holding the PAIR CODE button down for 3 seconds. (Didn’t hear the beep mentioned in instructions, but it worked). Tested it by turning light off and on. DO NOT TURN ON FAN UNTIL PROPERLY MOUNTED TO CEILING.7. Finished mounting to ceiling with provided screws.Then, tested and played with all of the settings. It is REALLY nice! I LOVE IT!!!IPhone APP:8. I then used the QR code on the remote instructions to get to the APP. There were two options listed for iPhone on the JASONG.com webpage (all in Chinese but icons are good indicators). After reading reviews of each, I chose the first one. Installed quickly.9. I opened the app and selected “fan light”. I named a new bedroom fixture for my daughter’s room.10. With the app open, I turned the fixture off. Then, turned it back on. Then touched the pairing icon on the app. (Instructions say to pair within 5 seconds of turning the fixture on) It immediately beeped and paired. I was able to test all of the commands. And am equally as pleased.WONDERFUL PRODUCT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THANK YOU!Relatively easy to install. Being such a close ceiling mount the attaching screws were a bit tight to get to, but overall pretty easy. The audio is poor at best but a VERY QUIET FAN. Would love it a larger model was available.I got this ceiling fan for my son’s bedroom. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to install and get it connected to his phone to play music! Don’t think twice in getting this fan!!I bought this with intention of it having Bluetooth, bc my son is crazy about technology. However, this one did not which is my fault. Great fan for the money, very quit.This fan/light combo was super easy to install. The app took a bit to figure out, but now that I have, it works great. The fan gives off more air than I expected, and I love the various speed controls. The light itself gets very bright! I was happily surprised. And I love the various light settings. Would highly recommend this!!I was watching my favorite do it yourself person on Instagram and she was installing this fan. I was hooked when she said speaker. I didn't wait for the video to finish before I was on my Amazon account ordering it. Thank goodness because it is already sold out! I like to listen to Italian cooking music when in the kitchen and let me tell you, this little 19 inch fan is perfect and makes a giant breeze! Can't wait for the restock to order more! LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I hope this company reaches out to her because it was definitely her post that sold it out.
