I didn't care for the off white so I painted the blades a light pink. Seems to work well. I wish it had more settings. Was a bit difficult to install, but that may have been the user, not the product. Works well for the price. May purchase something more intricate in the future.Great Hampton Bay quality, I’ve been very happy with this purchase. It is quiet and keeps the room cool on those warm summer days! Color is perfect for our room too.Shaft was slightly bent on one of the two I ordered. Couldn't tell till we got it up there and by then it just wasn't worth it to take it all down. Also doesn't really move the air like I think it should.Loved the dual options on the fan blades (installed ours white side showing on a white ceiling). Affordable, easy to assemble and install. Reversing fan rotation as well as three speed adjustments made it perfect for the installation in a small room in our home. Cannot attest to performance in a large room***update---one year later the fan motor went out, completely. This is now junk on my ceiling. Now, not only do I have to find someone again to remove and install a new fan, I don't have product replacement so am just out the monies paid both times, ie the product itself, and the installation since I am handicapped in a wheelchair making ladder use impossible.Ceiling Fan came to us on October 19, although it was indicated the time of delivery on October 23! .. Amazon is always on top! ... And the quality of products almost always corresponds to the description. We are sure that this time everything will be wonderfulI don’t think Hampton Bay Littleton 42” Celling fan quality control department knows what they are doing. No hardware for the blades,missing,and a lot of other things. Now we get to the heart breaker after installing the fan moter the light doesn’t work so I check the wiring now it’s still not working so I take it down and as the day is gone the socket was not wired.So what do you say about that, I bought screws to mount the Blades and washers is any one going to pay for them NO I’ll take one for the consumer. Some outfit! Amazon should drop this company.Motor is noisy on medium & low. On high it is quiet. Easy to install. Fortunately high is the preferred setting.Good product
