APPLICATIONS - Our 4 Inch inline fan can be used in indoor grow facilities and vertical farms, heating and cooling transfer, commercial drying and air filtration applications. Built in blowers not only simulate winds, smokes & exhaust odors but also intakes fresh airflow.
EFFICIENCY - TerraBloom air duct fan 4 inch features brushless EC Motor and dual jet type blades, this blower delivers 141 CFM airflow rate using just 21 Watts at max speed. It translates into less than $50 annual cost of 24/7 operation at max speed using $0.29 average cost per KWH. Our fans don’t purge or waste electricity at lower speeds.
UNIQUE CONTROLLERS - Our 4 inch duct fan includes a variable speed controller which increases or decreases speeds without background noise or hum at low speeds. You can also upgrade to our wireless remote control (Model: ECMF-WR) and intelligent thermostat speed controller (Model: SC-ECMF) as well.
BUILT & DESIGN - TerraBloom Grow Fan features aluminum housing that resists rust, protects the motor & blades from accidental damage. This fan has IPX4 ingress protection rating to ensure long lasting. Extremely compact and fits into spaces with minimal clearance.
SIZE & FEATURES - Duct size: 4 inches | Dimensions: 6.3 x 7.3 x 5.9 inches | Bearings: Dual Ball | Noise 18 dBA | Air Flow: 141 CFM | HVI Certified | Energy Star Listed | 2 years Warranty.
The bracket has two large mounting keyholes, which are oriented for the fan to blow upward only. The included mounting screws are too small for these keyholes to be used properly. There are also four ordinary holes, properly sized for the screws, but they are just about impossible to access due to their position with respect to the bracket's legs and the body of the fan itself. Add to this that the included screws are soft Philips-heads and you're pretty much guaranteed to ream the heads out with your driver, and be forced to seek out some other method, as I am now.About a year into owning my glowforge, I purchased this inline fan. In hindsight, wish I hadn’t waited to so long. The difference in the noise level is astonishing. My husband connected everything in less than 5 minutes. So much better than the $1000 fan that GF sells. That’s it, it works like a charm in my small tent.working good for what i needI held off on buying this fan for a long time, because I already had a similar item installed and running...but that fan was loud. I had become somewhat used to it, but every time someone came into the room the first thing they would ask was "What is that sound?". It was in my bedroom, and I know it was affecting my sleep. But I finally bought this fan as a replacement...and WOW!It is VERY quiet. I have to touch it to assure myself that it is actually running. And it comes with a digital speed control, which is a whole new world for me! I only need it to run at a very low speed, which results in less air being blown out of my house, which means less heat being blown out along with it...which is a big deal if you live in a cold part of the country. I am very happy with it, so far. Quiet, with adjustable speed. I cant speak to it's potential life span, as I have only had it for a few weeks.Fast shipping! We ordered this inline fan to help reduce temperature and humidity in a 4x4 grow tent, and it's "almost" too big in terms of cfm, as this fan moves A LOT of air. Just make sure you have enough intake vents or a intake fan as this will suck a tent down with no problem! We run the fan on a temperature controller with the included speed controller set to 25% fan speed to exhaust excess heat. It's perfect for our setup.Pros:Robust all metal constructed case (impeller is plastic) and great mounting optionsEasy and quick to set up20w on max 10w on min for electricVery quiet compared to other fans of same sizeMoves A LOT of air for size and power. It's a lot bigger than we expected in terms of cfm movement!Easy to install 4in duct to fanPrice when purchasedCons:Can only use the included speed controller, not able to use a temperature or humidity controller that controls speed based on conditions or after market speed controller. Stuck using terrablooms.Price raised after purchaseNothing worth reducing a star forThe first photo of the killawatt shows power draw includes running this fan at 25% a 6in clip fan on low setting, and a 135w quantum board turned down to 75%. 107 watts total usage! Great for seedling and getting them acclimated to the room. The second photo of the killawatt is this fan at 100% the light tuned to 80-90% (best efficiency for this light IMHO) 6inch fan clip fan on high and a heated Matt only uses 140 watt total. Great for veg phases for what we have growing. So if you're trying to save energy and still grow that is an amazing option! This setup in our area runs us around 8$ a month in electric cost.Haven't tried it with a filter yet, but we are planning on buying another fan and two filters for intake and exhaust from the same manufacturer, and we will update when we get to that point.Final thought:High quality, quiet, efficient fan. Worth the investment and we would definitely buy another! Only wish they hand an option to control the fan and speed based on humidity or temperature. So far all good, bought another one.Item was of tip-top quality. Agreeable packaging. Very, very first-class delivery. Top-notch seller.Really noisy. I tought you would only ear the air moving at low and a motor noise at high. Not at all the motor is clearly audible and isn't making a good noise, i can hear a hum.. Will use them(4inch and 6 inch) on their lowest setting for my stealth grow I have no choice. And it's at least 30db at lowest for the small one with a hum and 34db for the big one. At max speed they make like 70-80db. really clearly a ripoff for its price. Its price should be lowered at 50% of its cost and I would ban them from amazon for false advertising. Writing quiet on the title is clearly misleading.Fan is extremely loud, even on lowest settings, and sounds like the gears are seizing up, almost instantly after initial use. Have been using it for less than a week, noise started hour one.Pros:The fan arrived nicely packaged. Comes with multiple control options and a long cord for the controls. Looks nice.Cons:Fan is extremely loud, very surprisingly loud given the size of the fan. have to crank the volume on my tv due to the fans volume. So this fan advertises the fact that it runs at 18db, this is the case at 1/8 the max speed. At max speed the fan runs at 50db. Where my fan is placed this is a majour issue because its right beside were i work which is destracting. The measurments of the base are also incorrect on amazon. Which is a bit of a pissoff since i cut a frame to those measurments and now its going to cost me a new frame. However for airflow and overall design this seems like a solid equipement, but i cant give it more than a 2 star with the noise issue.Amazing fan, so happy I found terrabloom. Ecm fans should be the current standard for all grow fans however this is not the case. Don't be fooled by other nice looking fans that have 60yr old fan technology inside. This paired with a good led grow light and you have a super efficient setup with infinite control over air speed instead of just a few speeds, and it will last longer, use less power and be more quiet.Le ventilateur est facile d'installation et il est possible d'acheter un adaptateur pour une télécommande sans fils! À faible vitesse le son est négligeable. À pleine vitesse il faut s'attendre à un son plus important, ce qui est normal pour un ventilateur.
