This is a good fan, but it has irritating LED lights. Light pollution seems to be an issue with a lot of new products. This fan has lights in the back to tell you about battery life and to denote low, med, and high speeds. During the day who cares, you don't notice, but at night these lights are obnoxious. I want darkness when I am sleeping, darkness that I can't have when I use this fan.I kept the fan because I was mostly using it at work, but now I use it at night and it's an issue.Even taping over the lights don't dim them enough.This would easily be a 5* fan, but it appears that the fan only runs off the battery. If it is plugged in, it will not draw power directly. Soo, if the battery is dead, you just have to wait. I've left on by accident (which isn't all that unusual with me and fans), and when I went to use it the battery was dead and took a while to be usable again. The draw from the battery is faster than than rate of charging, and you have to make sure to turn off - I usually use on the lowest speed and it last a long time (longer than 1 day), but not sure how fast a drain is if used on higher speeds. Not a big deal for the way I use, but kinda gets a meh. Overall, I like the fan, and if they improve the battery/charging, it's a 5* mini fan all day.Great fan!! I use it all the time and clip it onto my babys stroller, the battery life is AWESOME! There are 3 settings on the fan, Low, Med, High and it is the best... I live in HI so its always hot and muggy, this fan is such a great thing to have to keep my baby cool.I bought this fan for pretty much the sole purpose of using it on cruises. On medium setting, it will last all night on battery power. I ran it on high a couple nights and it made it through the night as well. Minimal noise and quite powerful for the size. The only "drawback" is that it takes several hours to fully charge. You can use it while it's plugged in too.I'm writing this review on the first day I received it, so I can't say anything about long term performance. However, I am very pleased with the fan so far. I was looking for a travel fan I can sleep with for hospital stays and camping. This thing is bigger than standard cheapo 6in clip fans and has a higher output as well. And I absolutely love the size, it will fit perfectly in a backpack or duffle bag.My primary purpose of writing this review on day 1 is to say that this fan does run while charging. I read another review that states it would not charge and run at the same time which was a deal breaker for me (great idea reading reviews AFTER ordering it lol). I tried it right out of the box and it clearly showed it was charging while running. Maybe it was the type of charger, I was using the included cord with a high output Anker charger. Or maybe this is a different version then the other reviewer received.I bought this fan for walks with my baby. The battery lasts for quite a while! Big plus- you could charge your phone as well. I like it BEST from the other fans because it is big and gives more air. Must buy!We clip our fan on a car headrest and pop it on whenever its really hot out. It circulates the AC 1000x faster then usual, big deal for our baby girl in the backseat.Used for Airshow or any other outdoor hot events. We love it.It’s very quiet and can’t tell when it’s on or off. I love the size and battery life, however in the video it seemed to be very powerful and it’s not. The clip is strong but doesn’t stay in place and sometimes slips off. It’s an 89 out of 100. I would recommend it.
