I have just gotten this, have only had it for a day. It is made of good materials, very soft. Cool air flows out of it, and cools me off, quickly. It says it has a cooling module in the motherboard, and that is a big plus. It isn't spewing hot air. I have not been in very hot weather inside my house, but outside it helped, and it was around 90 today. If I don't have my air conditioner on, it does get hot, so, I think this will give cool air, even when it is hot. Some of these neck fans on the market just give hot air. I think the cooling module on this one, makes a big difference.I have it on low tonight, and it is a lot of cool, for low. Low and med. work for me.I am hoping this lasts a while. The recharging is not long, and I own one of those extra outlets you plug into a standard wall outlet. It has regular outlets, and the wide slits that are for an adapter, or charging cord, such as the type in the box with the product. You can buy these extra outlets anywhere. Go to Target, Amazon, Staples, any big box store. It just gives you a lot of different outlets, for different devices. Just plug that into your wall outlet, and the thin end look of the charging cord (plugging the other end into the neck fan) into it. Look for the thin, wide opening on te extra outlet. Plug in. And, look for the spot on the neck fan with the plug in area, this is on the bottom side where there are no openings for air. You can also use the phone charger that came with your cell phone. They can be used in a standard wall outlet. it is good to have the extra wall outlet, though, just in case you need to plug something in that can't plug into your wall outlet.There were a few people who didn't seem to know where to plug in, or why it wasn't working with the regular wall outlet, so I thought maybe I could describe it a little. The battery life doesn't last as long as I expected and I wish there was an option to turn off even if fan speed is pushed because I have mistakenly pushed fan on without knowing and it kills the battery life.My daughter is in Colorguard for the band and I am a chaperone. In the southwest Texas heat, it gets HOT. Especially at band competitions when I am running around helping the equipment crew. This little fan saved this Mama from heat exhaustion. I even put it on a student that was overheating to help her cool down! Don't hesitate, get it!!!I was quarantined in a room with no air conditioning. Long story. But ordered this to keep me cool. Worked like a charm. Worked so good the several of the staff ordered one. Pretty quiet and runs a long time on battery.I have issues with getting too hot just doing basic chores around the house. These have helped immensely. They're also great to use when using the treadmill and exercise bike. The only issue is they're kind of loud, not a problem at home, but enough of an issue that I'd feel weird waking around target with them (another place I get overheated at).its loud but i can live with that, and i like the fact i just put it around my neck turn it on and let it do the work. There are three level to work with, even thought the buzz sound is annoying you get use to it and i would rather have that, than the sweating. To the company please play with the noise level a little more, but over all i like the product.Great neck fan! When the AC at work was down this was a mighty good helper to keep me cool. Especially being a cook it works great! Highly recommend.This is a cool option when in meetings or walking around the airport. It looks like headphones. There are 3 settings. I use the lowest during meetings. This was a great find for me.
