We originally bought this for our toddler to have with her on stroller/bike-trailer rides. Now this is being used by me on a daily basis during my pregnancy to stay cool.I use it at work (I work 3 twelve hr shifts a week) at my desk all day, and EVERY night to keep me cool. I used to keep the bedroom uncomfortably cold due to PREGNANCY, but everyone is cozy now!Using this during pregnancy is has made work and home life so comfortable! Every time I turn it on is like being outside in Texas heat and walking into a cold building. This is very quiet on its lowest setting. The portability is great! The battery life is awesome!I highly recommend it. We are so happy with this fan that we will be buying another.I love this little fan! I bought it to help keep me cool on hot Texas market days. And, serve as a battery backup for my phone. But, I use it at home too…in my art studio.I have found that it’s battery life isn’t strong enough to rely on it for constant use as well as charging a phone. However, this really isn’t a show stopper.I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it!I have used this for quite some time now. I have used it to charge other things, this obviously drains the battery quickly. It lasts most of the night on camping trips. Generally on the lower settings it lasts the whole night. Charge it during the day with a solar pad or outlet if you’re car camping. Usually hang this on the bottom of the gear loft in the family tent. I am going to buy another. Would raise to 5 stars if it moved air a little better.The fan itself is ok as a personal fan. I don’t think it pushes air vigorously enough to be considered an area fan. It is light weight. The multi-position handle is convenient. I find the built in light of limited utility with so many other lighting options available. My chief compliant about this fan is that there is no provision on-in the unit to store the remote control. Sooner or later the remote is destined to disappear with no place to stow it. There is also no compartment within the fan to store the charging cable -same issue, sooner or later it will grow legs and walk. Lastly, even though a charging cable is provided, no wall wart charger is provided. You need a 5v 2 amp wall wart to charge the fan or some battery equivalent. So, as a personal fan it does the job, but it’s frustrating there is no place on-board the fan to stow the remote control or charging cable.I bought it for my wife going on a BSA Scouter Training Course for adults. It was easy to carry and provided good lighting. Unfortunately the battery doesn’t last long through the night so good thing I sent with her a portable battery pack to help recharge the fan.It last for about 7 to 8 hours battery life great for a small tentThis Light/Fan combo is perfect for anyone’s camping needs. The light could be brighter, but it is bright enough for lighting up a tent or camper. It recharges quickly and then holds the charge for hours. The fan is a welcome addition and keeps the air circulating in a stuffy enclosed tent. It is designed with a pop-out hook so that it can be hung from the ceiling. I love this gadget.Battery last well over 4 hours with fan and light will last up to 8 hours if fully charged.The fan on high actually moves some air. If you like a lot of air it does have to be close to you. It very portable, used it around the camp site where I was sitting.
