It's a nice quiet fan and it's also kinda nice that it's bladeless. However, it could use one higher setting to move a bit more air. Of course, that would increase noise but it's super quiet already. That was the main reason I got it. Something to replace a noisey dated fan.The only issue with these designs is the maitenence. There is no easy way to clean this. The whole thing will have to be disassembled and even if there was an "easier" way, it's still a lot of parts to clean compared to simply wiping off a blades and guards.It's a bit of an odd review. It's a good one, but it's still only a 3 star fan. When these bladeless fans are made, they need to be made with the option to easily remove the circular tube inside that pushed the air through the the whole thing. Those things collect a lot of dirt and they retain it more than a traditional blade. Especially on the inside. But the rare thing is that I actually think the price for this fan is on point. I'd say $25 would be better, but $30 isn't a stretch. If it had 1 more setting for a higher CFM, I'd say it's 4 stars and maintenance is the minus 1.That said, I won't ever use this on battery. I won't ever use this through USB. If I wanted a battery operated or USB chargeable fan I'd get something a lot smaller and probably a lot more expensive with a better motor and design that utilizes more of USB's power, not just a 2.0-C connection. I have not even tried it, but you can expect the power to be that much less on battery or USB. Don't even bother if that is your intention.I bought this to replace the normal honeywell fan that everyone has had. I bought this as it's better for circulation, and easier to clean. The issue that I had with it for that scenario is the sound. I know it sounds weird if you don't know what I'm talking about, but the sound of a fan is something I need to sleep well and this doesn't provide that. Which is a bad thing in my case but in others it might work out better. I instead am currently using it for my desk setup, for this it works alright. Before I was using a tiny 2-3 inch fan just for white noise/slight breeze. This outperforms that, but is it worth the price? I chose a terrible color white with gold accents, just why. A few additions I'd make: I wish that this had a tiltable base/legs so you can tilt it at you better. I also wished that the button was a soft touch button instead of being a hard press button so you don't have to hold it at the same time. Also an indicator light on the front to tell you that it's plugged in. Also get rid of the bar in front, I don't think that there is any use for it. Not an addition but something to note, there is a light that tells you what your fan speed (which is hard to tell the difference of between the colors), and the light bleeds through the filters on the side. $40, on sale, is a lot of money for this and I don't think it's worth itI love this fan. Not too big and very quiet. Uses a USB to charge.The battery life is not as great as i wanted but will last about 3 hours off charger on high.Other then that i really like this fan.Would recommend.It is super quiet. Obviously the lowest speed is the practically inaudible. Super light weight and easy to use.There is no battery indicator, that’s a small bummer.. at least from what I’ve seen. But don’t let that stop you from buying this. It’s a great fan!Little noisy at higher fan speeds but still pretty quiet overall. I recommend putting something soft under it, I noticed it gets much quieter than if it's on a hard surface.I find the mid to high setting is perfect for me, I use it to help sleep.I have used it on battery power alone, won't lie, I didn't even see that feature. But I look forward to using a portable fan in my hobby room.This fan is a bit noisier than I’d like it to be, but it acts like a sound machine in the baby room. I purchased it for night sweats. The strength is ok at a level one but the 2nd and higher levels are pretty loud and the light is munch brighter.The fan is quiet and powerful, but intermittently sticks on the highest speed and will not allow it to be turned off...I have to let it run out of battery and then start it up again to get the lowest speed. The speed switch is touch-sensitive and I wish it was an old-fashioned button that may be less complex.I use this product at work in a busy and noisy office. I love that I can have it running and hardly hear it. The three speeds are a bonus too. Depending on the heat level in the office, I can always find the right setting for me! I am looking to order one for my home office as well!It never came with a remote! IT also looks a little feminine. Rose Gold! Yuck!
