Derale 16818 High Performance Radiator Cooling Fan with Durable Aluminum Shroud Assembly - Perfect for Truck, SUV & Off-Road Vehicle Engine Cooling Systems

I have bought 2 derale. First one was Derale 18217, after some time (less than 6 months) in some moments suddenly it start to work in a very low speed although I had 2 positive connected. Sometime it worked good and sometimes at very low speed. At the end, it stopped working... I received a refund, bought the Derale 16818 (with fan shroud ), It was working perfectly and one day I was driving and smelld something, when I stopped I saw smoke coming from engine bay, when I opened the hood the smoke was coming from the fan motor. I took it to a shop and they told me the fan motor was melted...2 Derale fan in less than 1 year is not normal. The wiring was perfectly so that was not the cause.I have to admit that it has good power and is the thinnest fan I have seen with that performance but they fail to fast.
