Overall we are happy with the light, but it took some work.Light arrived in good condition and was easy to install in bedroom. Like others, the light glowed even when turned off (not good if needing a dark bedroom at night). Needed the fan on (but with the light completely off). If turned the light completely off with the light switch, we lost functionality of the fan. I swapped our dimming wall switch to normal light switch, still had the same problem. Contacted seller and they were VERY responsive. They admitted there was an electrical issue with current LED light strip and sent me (2 weeks shipping) a new updated light strip (in picture). This required disassembly of light and some minor wiring, but it actually fixed the problem! Now the fan and light work independently and no more glow with the light off and fan on. They also claimed that all lights have now been updated with the new LED light strip.Fan produces good airflow and is very quiet.Negatives that remain: even when dimming light to the lowest level, it’s still at approx 60-70% brightness. I was hoping to dim the light much lower, but it does not allow this (which is surprising to me…why not allow full dimming down to total darkness?)Lastly, every push of the remote button (or light switch) to turn light/fan on and off results in a loud beep. Doesn’t affect functionality, just a nuisance.Sooooo. . My son is 6'3, 16 years old, and very goofy, at first I bought him one of those lavish gorgeous ceiling fans when he was like mmmmmaybe 11, not thinking he'd grow and randomly get swiped upside the head while circulating in his room, I'm sure he enjoyed it, but it worried me so I brought this it sooooooooo cute and looks modern and it's awesome I've had no issues with it. Love it.I knocked off one star due to the poor (actually, lack of) instructions but all-in-all am very happy with this purchase.The fan is only 6” down from the ceiling, looks streamlined and, as advertised, has blade direction that is reversible.This light is amazing! Easy to set up and easy to use! The fan is very quiet and it pushes air very well for its size. The different colored settings for the light are great as well. Night time mode and dimmer! Overall a great purchase. We needed a light that would fit in our bedroom and it's perfect.The kids love it also my wife. She toldMe to write a review the first!This fan is great! I like how I can switch the fan direction. Great for summer and winter to circulate the air. Low profile for low ceilings.This is beautiful and was easy to install. We get so many compliments on it. It's for our office, works great, looks great!Perfect size, gives great lighting and air circulation
