So I have mixed feelings about this ceiling fan for one I should’ve listened and read all the reviews in detail because a lot of them were true the fan makes a lot of noise I thought they were referring to the Crystal chandelier type fans that is in the same category. But anyways this one makes a lot of noise too I’m very disappointed with it. I do have to say that the lighting in the cage is kind of cool it looks nice in the bedroom. But man it’s too loud when you’re sleeping I shut it off. And another thing the only reason I gave it three stars is because it was such a pain in the you know what… to put up. The instructions are not that helpful it took us over an hour to figure out what to do with the remote control motor and that was a pain to hide but for $200 I’m not impressed I thought it was gonna be a way better product than what I received:/Puts out good light and air but is way overpriced.Requires a bit of patience to mount unit to supplied bracket. Very vague instructions for installation and absolutely no instructions are included to operate the remote control. Supposedly has a timer feature but no way to know how to set. Remote came without battery and is an odd size so be prepared. States you can control the unit from your phone and does have a scan code to take you straight to the app but after installing the app I had no luck getting the unit to pair with my phone. This unit is worth $50.00-$100.00 at most. The manufacture could have done a bit more and would have a lot more happy buyers.I am frustrated when a ceiling fan light states "dimmable" and it means difference moods of the same light. too bright can't get it to a comfortable brightness. BUT I love love the style that it hugs the ceiling, I have been looking forever for a fan light that truly is a flush mount, this fixture mounts to the ceiling...this one is it! If they could make the bulb dimmable not just different variations in tone. I'd buy 3 more for my basement.So wanted to like this fan. Looks good for the price but is flimsy as others mention and also the fan, in the lowest setting, is too loud and moves too much air to be comfortable for most. I could have lived with that since it was in my 2nd floor office but I just realized that the light defaults to tacking, old school florescent, bright white color. There is also no wall mount for the remote.I needed to replace my old kitchen light and my wife wanted a ceiling fan as she cooks/bakes often so the kitchen gets hot. I did not want a standard ceiling fan but wanted enough lumens to light the kitchen. After significant searching we found this one. It is GREAT! With the clear fan blades it does not stick out visually. The light is very bright and more lumens than my old light. The light is adjustable via the remote so you can go from bright white to warm white in color as well as adjusting intensity. Definitely need 2 people to install to line up all the hardware.Great looking, small and no big blades but definitely puts out good air flow. Bright light if that’s the only light in the roomThis item is perfect for my daughters room. Fits flush against the ceiling over the bunk bed. Was not possible with a traditional ceiling fan.I have no regrets for purchasing this product. I am very pleased.
