So I am a moderately fluffy middle-aged woman so if you understand what I’m sayin then I don’t need to explain myself. Y’all I’m hot. Not hot hot like watch me walk down the street hot but hot like good Lord this is repenting weather hot. I had planned a Caribbean vacation to Aruba this summer and about a week before I was going to throw up duces I found out the air conditioning units were on the fritz at the resort I was staying in. I just about wanted to cry. There was probably a lone tear, I’m not gunna lie. On a normal day I like the AC cranking and a turbo fan blowing when I am sleeping so I had no clue how I was going to manage a subpar AC system down in the tropics. I went looking for a lightweight, portable fan to take with me and that’s when I met Stan. Now I had a very nice man accompanying me on said Caribbean vacation but Stan kept drawing my attention. He went with me to the patio, he went with me to the family room, he went with me to the kitchen and even the bathroom but most importantly… He went with me to bed. Now my male companion may have been jealous but I reassured him that this was just a situational relationship. To say Stan is awesome is an understatement. Works like a charm all night long when it’s plugged in. Runs for a good long time even unplugged. Lightweight, telescopic, oscillating. Did I mention he has a remote and six different speeds? Owh yes he does. Stan does whatever I need him to do. I highly suggest this purchase if you are a gal like me. Please keep in mind Stan is made of plastic so he’s a little bit sensy. I carried him on the plane as to not get crushed with the pedestrian luggage which was thrown upon the undercarriage of the plane. Take good care of Stan and he will take good care of you. Light weight, powerful for its size, folds up for easy storage, can be used while plugged in and charging, oscillates and is larger than most of the fans on here make sure you check the size the 8” fans are basically a table top sized fan, this one will make camping, porch sitting, fishing etc so much better. I can't sleep without a fan on and the ceiling fan just doesn't cut it since I can't direct it on me.I wasn't sure this fan would be what I needed because a lot of times battery operated isn't as good as corded. However, it is an awesome fan. It's lightweight, charges well and puts off a lot of air.
