Fairly easy to install, since it's a flush mount you have limited room above to get the screws started into the mount. A magnetic tip screwdriver was a must since I have big hands. The remote functions are great with many light style and dimming options which is great because the light it really bright when full on. Not only the fan spins and blows the bottom direction ring rotates too which really stirs up air in the room. Something else that's cool about the bottom ring moving is you have control of that too where if you have a desk in the corner of a room you can stop the direction ring when you feel the air blowing on you and keep the breeze just on you like a stand alone table fan. Another great feature is it being bladeless and pullchain free, my child plays VR and now I don't have to worry about them hitting the pull chains into the blades or getting their hands hit by the blades. Overall I really like it and my child does too!!!!Installed approx. 4 weeks ago. 2 days ago with 111 degree heat the fan stopped working, as in no operation with remote (new batterys) or app (reinstall). Fan had been working the night before.I paid 2 hundred dollars to have it installed.Poor quality.The remote is hard to understand the modesEasy to install might need four hands. Nice air flowIt looks great and the kids love it! What people mentioned are also true. The cover on bottom does not cover the light 100%. That’s not so bad, but, it does have a delay when you hit the switch. That delay many mentioned is real and really annoying. You think something is wrong and a few seconds later the light turns on. It’s hard wired to the switch so imagine walking into a room and turning on the lights and nothing happens till you are like 5 or so steps into the room. Annoying to say the least. Overall I like it though, I would buy it again evening knowing the issues.I love the look of the fan but hate that every time I turn the light on it switched color temperature from the last time it was on. I just want it to stay on the same color temperature. The remote is a little buggy too and sometimes the light turns off right after I turn it on which may be because I turn it off and on multiple times quickly to get it back to the color temperature I want it on. Don’t even bother trying to install this fan unless you have prior experience because the directions will not help and they use their own coloring for the wiring without a good explanation of which is which. I searched other reviews to find the wiring color combo.It’s really cute and looks good in my son’s bedroom. It’s a unique ceiling fan and it simulates the slow start of a helicopter’s props. My only complain is that the white plastic (window) wasn’t attached to the helicopter, clearly wasn’t glue properly. I fixed it with some double sided tape. Another than that I like it a lot. It’s a bit expensive but my son loves it as well. I little hard to install but nothing terrible.This fan is awesome, made my day when it was installed! So unique. It was a real pain to get it installed though and I hired someone to help (and even he was confused and frustrated by it). Eventually got it going and I don't regret it even though it was pricey.
