Then on his seventeenth birthday, he was given a book that forever changed his life. It was a book about scouting. This was it! This is what he wanted to be! He barely finished high school and soon after failed out of a small community college, but that did not matter to him. One day while working as a loan officer, he was sitting in a meeting and had this thought go through his mind, "What am I doing here?" He just had to go for it. After seven months of working relentlessly on something that had never been done before, the call came and Daniel was hired by the New York Jets to work in Pro Scouting.
