Hands down the best thing I ever bought for the baby. It beats diapers - yep diapers. It's THAT awesome and for the $ it's crazy good value. I've had a bazillion compliments on this every single time I have used it in public from just about every age group who wanted one for themselves. I live in Florida and completely depend on this to help the baby stay cool. It clips on to anything, and considering its felt, its extremely effective at cooling down peeps. I've even used it in the car before the AC kicks in. I've used it on the stroller a million times. The felt blades make it impossible for the baby to hurt themselves on it - in fact my sons fave game is to stick his fingers in it as it whirs as it tickles his fingers, and it does not get bent, broken or hurt the baby. My only advice would be 1. Go buy 2 - because they are cheap, and you will be jealous of that lovely cool air your baby is getting and 2. Buy AA rechargeable batteries - a regular battery will last 6 - 8 hours but you will love this so much that you will get your monies worth from buying a rechargeable plug and batteries. And 3. Carry 2 rechargeable batteries and a tiny screwdriver with you (and the fan) in the baby bag all the time. Always ready to keep that baby cool. Perfect. Love it. Told everyone about it, and everyone bought it, loved it, told others and so on. I'll be buying this for all future baby showers - they will thank me, I know they will.We bought two of these clip on fans at the start of the summer when our baby was having troubles staying cool on the warm summer car rides. Even with the AC on in the car, the back seat would still be warm. And when our baby started to cry, he would get himself even more worked up and get hotter. A mama friend of mine had one of these and said she liked it. So we decided to try them too. I bought one for each of our vehicles and we used them religiously throughout the summer. They gave a little extra breeze to our son and helped keep him cooler, and it also gave him something to look at. We used them clipped onto the handle of the car seat when it was in the stroller too, to keep him cool on hot walks. My only complaints are that the batteries don't last long, and that the fan requires a tiny phillips screwdriver to change the battery. So if you're keeping the fan in the car or in the stroller, you'll need to have a screwdriver on hand to be able to replace batteries on the go.Other than that, it's awesome! This fan is really great for little fingers or clumsy adults. The only drawback is that the battery storage requires a tiny screw to be removed before accessing. Overall would buy the fan again. The foam has stood up to baby playing with the fan, but the battery life isn't good. It's worth it to keep baby safe (foam doesn't hurt) and to keep from overheating during summer adventures; I just wish it were rechargeable.I live in a pretty hot area so car rides can be pretty uncomfortable for my little one. The AC is always running in the car but it takes a bit to cool down. Plus the car seat doesn't provide much circulation. The clip is perfect so we can clip it to the seat and have it point on our little one. It provides enough circulation to help keep her cool. It has definitely helped! The foam propellers are soft and my little 5 month old has already hit her hand on it and no pain, no crying, no issue! The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seems to eat through the batteries. I do leave it running for all of our errands through out the day so it does run quite a bit but it seems like I am always changing out the batteries. Not certain if other people experience that or if it's just that I run the fan more than the average person.Overall, great product - works as expected. Love the foam propellers!Works great clips easily onto almost everything.I purchased this fan for a Disneyworld trip and boy am I glad I did! My baby was teething during our trip and the teething didn't bother him as much as the heat and humidity. He'd be all fussy and once I turned on the fan, he'd calm down and would actually sleep! My son also liked playing with the fan when he was awake ... he'd put is foot or it to stop it.My only complaint is that seen by other reviews that to replace the batteries you need a screw driver. I read other reviews and I just simply removed and toss the screw. During my week long trip, I only lost 1 battery. Because the fan was pretty much on all the time, I did have the replace the batteries every day or two but that is expected when this thing is chugging along all day.We also got complemented on it a LOT! I totally dont regret the buy!Our ten month old son LOVES going on walks in the evening but lately has been getting so hot in the stroller. We purchased this fan in hopes that it would keep him a little cooler on our walks. I have to say we are quite impressed. The fan actually is pretty powerful for such a small size. My wife was able to feel the breeze from 3 feet away. The blades are made of foam so they are very soft. My wife and I both tried putting our fingers in the blades as they spun and they just stopped the blades, not dangerous at all. We let our ten month old touch and explore the fan and he loved it. It's nice to not have to worry about him sticking his fingers in between fan covers and getting injured (like most other little fans). The fan clips easily onto his stroller in multiple different places. It also fits on the car seat in the car to help cool him down while we wait for the air conditioner to get to the back of the car. You can also use the fan for many other occasions, it's very versatile. This is a good little fan. Decent cooling, clips into the stroller easily and doesn’t hurt the little fingers that grab at it. The main reason I gave it 3 stars was because the first time we used it my baby grabbed the styrophome blades and pulled one out. I wish the manufacturer made it a little more sturdy since there isn’t really anywhere to attach it on a stroller where the baby can’t reach and still get the breeze.Update: I still use this fan a year later with only 2 blades however my toddlers head got close to the fan on the stroller and it sucked her hair into the crease behind the blade, it yanked out her hair by the roots. I will no longer be using this.Buyers beware! This product arrived on time but it was used even though I paid for a new fan. The screw on the back to put batteries in is stuck and can't get it open.. it looks like someone tried to put the screw back in but didn't do it right. The fan has a very strong chemical smell to it which I don't feel comfortable using it around my baby. I had to wash my hands after handling it to get rid of the smell from my hands. I can smell it from 2 feet away... have no idea what kind of chemical is infused in the item. Don't recommend buying it from here.So a few comments...Bad: Clip doesn’t attach very sturdy to anything, the battery pack gets in the way.The neck is flimsy and you have to keep an eye on the angle because it can hit itself.Good: steady breeze! Very soothing for rides. I use on the car seat and my LO is very comfortable. It was worth the money.I would like to explore other fans, as this is pretty basic and has some technical difficulties. Would I recommend? If someone couldn’t find anything else, it’s not bad. And it’s cheap.I love that this fan has soft blades so it’s kid friendly, but the problem with this fan is that it doesn’t stand up to kids that are not friendly with IT! First time we used this, my 6 month old son got his hands on it and tore one of the blades right off. So it’s not much use now. So great little fan, but make sure your little ones don’t have access to it. Wish that the foam blades were a little more durable.this was a wholly ineffective product. I tried it yesterday in 25 degree celsius sunny weather and it did nothing to help keep baby cool in her stroller. The only way you can actually feel any significant wind from the fan is if you are within a half foot from the fan. No one would want to have to hold a fan that close to their face, and for sure, I don't want my baby's face that close to it.I chose this one because the blades are made of soft material, so it is safe if baby makes contact with it. But its useless for keeping baby cool so defeats the purpose.
