I ordered this cover as a replacement for my Fluval 204. One of the tabs on my original cover snapped off after years of use. This is a perfect fit and feels sturdier than the original. I really didn't put it together before now, but the flow rate of my 204 had decreased drastically over the last few months. With the new cover in place it's running strong again. I guess the old one with the broken tab was letting some of water travel back into the filter rather than out the tube, making it less efficient.
