Having acquired an old family laptop which had been discarded for having a noisy fan and being one who loves to repair rather than discard I ordered one of these hoping I would have the skills to fit the replacement. With the aid of an online video tutorial the whole process was easy peasy even for an old un like me ! Quiet with only the slightest of noise to indicate when it is active this fan does the job brilliantly and gives new life to something that was working but unusable. Brilliant. (p.s. remember to order thermal paste and cleaner for the processor !).
